Your work (in this sculpture) shows a wonderful understanding of anatomy and cloth-folding, and an admirable (and rare) restraint in Lara Croft's voluptuousness. (She's usually depicted by hormone-controlled artists as though she's been bitten on her chest by a pair of big bees, ifyouknowwhatimeanandithinkyoudo.) The level of detail and control of color are also admirable and verge on mind-boggling.
The only questions that come to mind are, 1) why the extra-poofy lips? and b) Why would someone who's in combat wearing earthtones also be wearing a rattly shiny metal scimitar scabbard as her arrow quiver?
Thank you very much for this sweet and funny comment I am pleased to know that anatomy is good, because I am a self-taught and it's hard to make things right
Most people get angry about the chest, you know, they think it's too small. Her lips looks bigger on this picture, and in real life she looks a bit better, I don't know why. Some dolls don't want to pose for the photo, I guess... Anyway, I love classic Lara's lips and this is something I want to keep.
Amazing job! Just two things I would like to mention- as someone who is into Archery, and owns a bow. First off, the arrow is a bit too high. It should be running straight parallel to her. If the idea was to have her shooting for something higher- you would angle the bow not the arrow. The other thing being that you have her gripping the string with all fingers. Which kind of puts the archer's glove she is wearing obsolete, and makes for a terrible shot as well. The level of detail to her clothing and accessories are absolutely astounding however
Very small little details that you don't quite get unless you're holding the thing yourself, I suppose No worries... the rest of the pose is fantastic though! I love how you have her arm straight and the elbow turned! Its also easy to see how you paid attention to how far she ought to draw the bow, holding it at the chin.
I can defiantly tell that the effort was made- just some helpful tips for next time, should there be one
You know, she looks like a lot of people, I was working on that face for weeks, trying to blend old and new look of Lara Surprisingly soon after I've posted her here a new version of a game came out and new Lara looks pretty close to mine:
